If I might be one of those annoying English language Nazi people for a moment (and probably make a whole bunch of nasty spelling and grammatical errors myself while I'm at it), Seraphim is a plural or Seraph. His armour looks like it won't allow for any bending at the knees.
Great likeness, though the ears still need a tad more work ...also even though I'm sure he worked out for Predators, he still had that lanky skinny look to him, I think he was bulked out with his armour and huge gun, so definately maintain that.
Wow, this is amazing. Great choice of item. Its like a musket had sex with a shotgun and birthed a mutant life-ruiner. Cant wait to see the bake! The back of the grip looks kinda like dragon-skin (the kevlar body armour that they are developing atm) Looks really "mean", youve nailed the concept.
Aw man, ive been thinking off doing the paul bonner minotaur to. Darn it :) Great job mate. Really captured the face and horns. The only thing that i think would make it pop a bit more is to beef up the rings, that the runes hang from, and beef up the edges of the armours.
A mini project i've started: not that happy with some of the proportions and anatomy of it, but thinik i'll adjust that when I take it into 3d :) Only started the armour version last night, so after finishing that i'm going to design a rider. Any crit or comments would be great! Cheers.
Damn this model still rocks my socks. Maybe I'll take a go at it and do some damage to his armour. make it look nice and dirty. Nice start MoP... BTW, your image you posted seems really fuzzy? That just from the compression of the jpeg?
Im doing a project for a school application. Would love to get som critique on it since I have never made a horse and am not sure about how it should look. Its not finished, but I would love to hear what you guys think before I add more armour and such. Here are my main references:
I like the colour sheme :) But I think you can push your textures and materials further. For example the leather looks to glossy and has this shiny plastic look. Also the metall parts could be more interesting in values and saturations. When he was retired why not give him an old and used armour?
Here are the final breakdowns for my Sylph. Quite happy with my first finished character! Some issues with her armour (i was trying to go for realism but overshot it i think) and some anatomy issues so hopefully i'll get them sorted and get her 3d printed https://vimeo.com/116897695
