Is the slider you mention by attribute holder in a selected object or is it in the 3D scene like a 3D slider object?

Nevermind. Found the way to make selected layer active. It's the last icon that follows the layer search bar.

Collapse the verts instead of the edges.or select the two edges and use "bridge" if we are talking about Max.

Check your Smoothing groups in 3dsmax. Select all faces, autosmooth in editpoly. Reexport. Check in marmoset

In the surface shader attributes expand the Hardware Texturing section and in the 'Textured channel' dropdown select "Out Color'.
