Giantbomb also has a great series of videos about the (mostly entirely horrible) movie adaptations of videogames called "This Aint No Game" (TANG) and a similar feature "The Wonderful Universe of This Aint Not Game" (WUTANG), one of which covers Tron.

Played guitar when I was younger. Was learning to play Master of Puppets on one when I was 14. :) Now I play it in a videogame. LOL. DT is insane live. Can't recommend it enough. I've seen them twice.
I think the videogame industry compares well to the tobacco industry in many ways. Not a good thing. Give then amount blown on marketing games as opposed to developing them, there needs to be some balance to make conditions more favourable.
...And so ended the era of shitty hair in videogames, (or at least I hope this will.) The foliage stuff looks like a good as well. Seconded the notion of a followup tool that helps ease the pain of baking these details for maps and game use.
yes! I finally figured out UV sets, that is the most awesome thing for videogames texturing. It really downsizes texturefile space. Anyway here is my curent project, please feel free to critique renderrough wireframe
They should create these "make your own videogame" where they just give you a skeleton-game, boxes and planes and stuff like that, maybe an occational teapot, That way we could buy the games and make the art for it ourselves!
I can't believe the kid talks like that around his mother. I didn't really feel comfortable swearing around my parents until I was probably about 15. I blame the internet and videogames.
I read this in the Dallas Morning News this past Sunday. Talks about closing down of Ensemble, the creation of a few new studios in the Plano area, some other interesting stuff. http://www.guidelive.com/sharedcontent/dws/ent/videogames/stories/040409dnmetvideogames.3b84ec9.html
