really nice so far, can you get the leaves on the tree to respond to the lighting more like in the concept, so a bit of it is top lit and bright and the rest has like an sss effect?
heh, thats great, if you could make the fading stopped/following the mesh, you could fake some SSS on the skin if you didn't do it already. it could add some to the shading.
that is by far the most penisy' penis arm gun i have seen... fuck why did i have to get that mental image... Also fucking great baked in lighting/fake sss!
Hey thanks @rsavoie356 haha I'm more of a wine person but it surely matches ;) @JamesBrisnehan good point with the bread inside roughness, i'll tweak this a bit, also with the SSS, i'll definitely test it, thanks!
Do you mean the human skin or the ghost skin? Human skin is nothing special, no SSS The spirit shader was using Shader Graph and I made it custom. I'll be doing a tutorial at some point.
The new higher contrast is much better! Have you thought about using SSS on the curtains with lights behind it? (like in the top left of your reference) It'd give the illusion of there being more outside.
crazy stuff! no crits from me. The first image is zbrush renders mixed in photoshop, right? may i ask what material did you use to get this backlight effect and SSS-thing?
Gonna have to take a look at the SSS and Rim Lighting, it doesn't look quite right... WIP - Missing weapons, ivy, foliage, dust particles, cobwebs, tits, shoes, several small ferrets and a trombone.
Hey Callum I particularly liked the sculpting of the orc girl very much. But why to leave it there and don't try to texture and render it with some SSS? I think it can turn out to be an impressive piece.
The shader is just a slightly tweaked-out version of one of SoK's brilliant SSS skin-shaders. There is also some photoshop contrast-tweaking present, and a faked scene blur. Zbrush material thread here!
