Hey sorry about the dead links on the wiki. Fixed them. Typically a color detail map is just a small grayscale tiled texture, and it's multiplied/added onto the regular diffuse, but it tiles a lot more. This makes it MIP out pretty quickly, so you don't see the repeat on more distant surfaces. -

Hey, Thanks for the mentioning @Eric Chadwick From what i know the addon was never part of the official Blender addons that ships with the software. It is at least not inlcuded in Blender 3 and 4. So i think you simply had it installed all the time and migrated it with the click at copy previous settings when a new version… -
