Hello everyone! Ill be posting here some stuff from WIPs to finished projects and i would very much apreciate it if you can give me some C&C, have an amazing day! Lets start with some Pokémon... Made on Zbrush, Rendered on Keyshot with the new Stelitography material and 3d Printed on a SLA Machine
High poly done! (I think). First time rendering in Keyshot, nice program, excited to use it more once I'm ready for final presentation. Will do the grip bumps and details in Substance, as well as the text engravings, excited to get this gun textured (also excited to UV, first model I've done in a while without much…
I made some proper eyes and threw down a really basic polypaint. Should of tested some skin shaders earlier, the soft shadows really changed how the jaw read. Anyway, I don't totally hate the result I'm getting in keyshot in terms of likeness, though everytime I look at it with fresh eyes that opinion changes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks Jeffro, I didn't really do anything special in zbrush. I captured a bunch of different material passes in zbrush and keyshot such as wax, chrome, toon shade, and comp those in photoshop. I think I made a total of 10 different materials and just blended then in photoshop. It's a quick way to get a beauty shot. Hope…
God that concept...and you're really doing it justice! Can't have really anything to crit so i'll just sit and keep watching :p On a side note: how are you finding Keyshot? i've seen some really diverse opinions on it and i don't really know if i want to pick it up
Duncans paint over looks good. I think the flesh around his nostrils needs to be a bit thicker. Not so much the middle bit (septum?) but the nostrils themselves. There was something bothering me about the nose and I think it's that. Those renders in Keyshot? Looks like more and more people are discovering it. It's fun!
Taking time to model/texture the eyes is very important as they can be the difference in the render. Even if you can't see all the detail in the render, it's there, and almost imperceivably adds to the image. Test render in Keyshot Creating the eye geo as a polysphere rather than a polar-sphere avoids pinching artifacts…
As no expert at all I continued my research for a way to render out passes of my UV-ed and textured models and I found some interesting posts about keyshot! I have never used the program, so can anybody give me some advice or opinion? As usual thanks to all..
Is it planed? Is it possible? I know not mayny ppl use toolbag for their hp renders, but there are some, like I, who use it along with zbrush instead of keyshot, etc. And toolbag is one of the fastest software in importing 3d files. goz id great format - it takes seconds to export from zbrush whlie fbx can take long…
Cheers guys! JacqueChoi: Scruffy thumbnails and then modelling in Maya followed by a quick render in Keyshot that I paint over in PS. EarthQuake: I've been doing concepting in 3d for vehicles, weapons etc. for years. It's just the quickest way for me to get something useable together. Here's a character design for the…
