that is definitely some awesome crafting work. probably the best real world halo armor i've seen. on the third page of the thread there is a picture of a mannequin in the under suit of the armor. looks to be in the same pose as the armored pictures, my guess femininely posed mannequin.
a little update, doodling armor and tried getting some glove action going, was thinking of making the gloves somewhat plated, not a full-on gauntlet. Or should i try for the full armored gauntlet? I've been learning 3ds max along the way so that's why there is a lack of updating. Armor shall be coming soon.
Really sweet concept! looking forward to seeing this textured. One thing I might change is the layered armor in the thigh areas. I like how you've broken up the same armor style in the neck with the little notches. I'd try throwing some of those into the thigh armor just to break it up a bit.
How about doing an armor that actually protects her a bit ? She can be sexy and fully covered you know. It's all about the silhouette, not the percentage of visible skin. I like sexy girls in skimpy armors like anyone else, but trying to do a full armor and keeping it sexy could be a nice exercise.
I like the armor flaps down the back, how about a chainmail coif? Beats a skullcap and you could bring it down below the front of the armor too to give the armor a more complete look. Nice work dude, this is a really amusing concept and eyecatching too Keep it up. Next, a badger berserker :P
i dont know if you drew that or not but if so youre improving man. the hands and feet are a little small. here is a model sheet i did for reference try doing this then doing the armor on a layer over top. this will give a better idea on how the body would bend in the armor and how the armor would sit on the body.
http://romanyukart.com/store/sniper/ Sniper from the project vr shooter. Last year I received the task to make several author characters. In the near future I will lay out the rest, as well as models with textures. More information can be found on the website. Part of the armor for the character used from the armor store…
Incoming wall of text. ;) Interesting direction mate, there's a lot to digest here. I do think there's quite a bit of work that could be done to improve your character pretty dramatically, but it looks to be pretty late in the process to make any large changes and I'm only just now seeing this. Regardless I have a few…
is the armor you've made here your own? Cause I am not a huge fan of some of the armor made in the game, and i really like this a lot. I agree with that it needs some more contrast to really push the depth in the muscles and armor. Great work though!
It looks to me like the proportions of the concept art are a bit strange to begin with but you should keep the following things in mind: The woman is a triangle, meaning her shoulders are wider than her hips. This character also has a very short torso and long legs. Your torso also feels a bit flat where as I think this…
