I am calling this done :) Concept made by Elliot Lilly for f.e.a.r 3, http://www.eliottlillyart.com/ Model weights in at 7950 tri's, using 2048 x 4096 for the rifle and a 1024 x 1024 for the scope. Thanks to everyone for all the great critcs, I learned a lot from doing this model.
Both the Quadro M1200 and M2200 are slower then a Geforce 1060. But the Xeon E3-1535v6 that comes with the P51 is actually a really good CPU, even slightly better then a 7920HQ.
Just tried it on my work computer for about 5 minutes, it took all the particle brush abuse quite well - oooh they are fun! (6 core AMD / 8 gigs / Radeon 7900) Later this weekend I'll give you some feedback on how well Painter works on tablets (notably my Surface Pro 2), since that's obviously where I'd love to see it…
I used CS5 with the November UDK, and the RAWs were specifically for importing Landscape layers. So my guess is they're not supported anywhere else but there. :( I would also guess that .float files were added as a get-it-in quick feature, with minimal testing. Another thread about .float...…
Thanks for you reply! Actually, it was working before and suddenly it's stopped to work...That's the weird thing about it, I'll try to delete these folders but I've already did a clean uninstall before. I have a 7970 3Gb edition
Looks about right. Post the normal map. Do you see all those fine ring details in the normal map? I'm assuming no because 512x512 is not enough. Look at your normal map and look at the part where that piece maps to. It will need quite a few pixels to get that much high detail. You posted a pic that is 798 wide, that circle…
