Hi guys! I have just found an interesting tutorial of The Foundry at YouTube. It calls: 'Modeling a Cartoony House'. It was useful for me, some kind. This is The Cartoony House I have made, after watching the tutorial. I would like to recommend it to everyone. Maybe, it would be useful for somebody else, as well. I was…
I love how they're putting in this tech for a cartoony game, not just saying "well it's cartoony, so just do some basic cell shading and it will run fast". I'd really like to make a character like this
You could try sending it to someone and letting them cut it up for you ? Nice model, i like the cartoony face, but the head seems a tad bt too small, considering the cartoony proportions your going for.
still coming along, dont think there will be much more to do. as i want to keep it cartoony like the penguin. Any texture recommendations. quite hard trying to keep it cartoony and make it look like a lion. Thanks, Craig
The examples don't really show it off well i think, allthough it's making me very excited about its use in cartoony games, rather than hyper-realistic, It might be perfect for subtle lighting in cartoony stuff.
I don't think this calls for anything realistic in the painting. I'd go for a very simple cartoony style. Forget anything detailed. It's just going to look wierd with the cartoony nature of the concept. Simple shapes and only hints of shading if that.
