Japan Karate Association? Yeah, I am waiting to do some sculpting and texturing when I get my new rig build (just waiting on the Nvidia 8600 (no onboard video)). Have you watched the texturing DVD of the fence and post form Eat3D? Is it worth getting?
Finished modeling the dress, started roughing out the paint and experimented more with colors/materials/render settings. I really want to experiment with adjusting the upper body and head position pose, but think I need to finish up the painting and hair first because I'm not experienced with rigging.
Character won't be changing armor, my only main concern is Retopology, I mean rigging needs a specific type of topology(or thats what I think, i am noob). If I can retopo with the armor attached as one, it would save me the hassle of separating mesh.
You're absolutely right! the head doesn't match with the body energy. I should start learning proper rigging-animation and try to give it the charisma it deserves, maybe for the next project! And thanks for the kind words, much appreciated! :) Thanks man! Appreciate it =) I'm happy to hear that :) :) Thank you!!
It was rigged for motion capture in motion builder by Mauricio Pachón and Dahvid Cuevas helped me doing two animation tests so I wouldn't have to rely only on dumb memes 😅 Expression Test https://youtu.be/l4OlmG8kldA Animation Test https://youtu.be/C3-kiZeM95M
Im sure those new SSD hardware wont be cheap. And you need a new GPU and CPU. I fear my next rig will cost around 3k. https://www.anandtech.com/show/15352/ces-2020-samsung-980-pro-pcie-40-ssd-makes-an-appearance

right foot around frame 18; left foot around frame 32/33. yea by cross over I mean the foot that's off the ground moving toward plant. and yea, a very subtle forward/backward motion in the COG or pelvis controller, not sure how that rig is setup.
Yes, 8 gigs is just not enough these days. I've 32gigs and am going to double it soon as it'sjust not enough. :) plus, it's dirt cheap. I always allow for future-proofing when I put a new rig together knowing I'll need more a ram sooner or later.....
My hope for software(and maybe this will help - who knows) is that you can pick and choose features more and hopefully that could do something for the outlandish prices. The price for 1 maya software + licence is rediculous, especially when all you wanna do is model, uv, texture and rig.
