Hi, I'm trying to spawn an enemy team of bots. 2-4 of em. That will attack me not anyone else. I got one placed in. Even though I have 4 nodes linked up just like the one working one. he just runs around that spawn area though and wont move around my map. Any ideas? Thanks. Hello, I am trying to do a whole multiplayer…
I decided to sculpt one of the rocks and the face in ZBrush first before starting with anything else. I figured those were the elements I would struggle the most with, so I wanted to get a rough idea of how long it would take for me to sculpt this sort of stuff before starting with anything else. I struggled a bit with the…
Hey, So basically at the minute it's sort of hot and cold with what i would say I really enjoyed when starting up and learning how to start etc, but now I do sometimes feel some opposition some days when doing it however, I still power through it but I just can't decide whether I truly love it and I'm putting up with it or…
That was a great way to put it. So today I was overly tired and was in a careless mood and I just busted open maya and modeled to model and finished off the trojan helmet (school mascot) that we're going to print for teachers to use a paperweight or something. It wasn't THAT bad with other AP students, but modeling in…
Hello lotet, Thank you for the graph. It motivated me to work harder :) There are many artists that I look up to and want to try everything. I paint a lot of anime girls in my free time when I am only in the mood to draw something. people like Paul Kwon, Alchemaniac, Eric Muentes, but also work from games like Skullgirls…
I agree with what has been said already, so allow me to offer some other advice. You need to work on your values and story direction. Story in illustration is paramount, everything you paint has to be in service of it. In Shaming of the king, my eyes go first to the elf's torso armor, is that what you want me to look at…
Can't think of anything else to do with his face right now, other than the details(but that's for later).. So i started working on the forms for his body before sculpting, trying to keep that stylized ape like feel(but subtle). I'll try to nail that comicbook/Jim Lee feel today. Critiques are welcome if you have the time.
Big advantage I've found so far with Plasticity is speed and ease of iteration with a base model + learning curve is very forgiving. Plasticity is now my go-to for general hard-surface modeling while Blender is still my default for everything else (including retopo of what I do in Plasticity)
It's kind of crazy to be in that position. Like, imagine if we were talking about anything else, and the situation was something like "dentists should probably branch out and learn podiatry". For the hiring situation to be so bad the advice is basically just "don't do the thing you're actually gunning for" is really dire.
Aye, I wish everyone could look at it more like that. Unfortunately a lot of people's self criticism can be a lot harsher and discouraging. I've noticed it particularly in america and japan... everyone is generally expected to sacrifice everything to be the best, and if you're not the best, you're worthless. I think part…
