Hey Flamingo Knight, nice start so far! For your inspiration here is the website of a friend of mine who worked on many Asterix videogames. Maybe you'll find this interesting http://yannickgombart.free.fr/Jeux.htm
Its a good thing that they are hard at work on finding the link between videogames and violent behavior. For a second I was worried that untreated mental illnesses like PTSD might be a more important issue. oh wait...
My guess is that 3Dcoat's baking is bad for videogames. Just an assumption. I would recommend learning Xnormal if you don't have access to one of the two major standard modelling packages: Max or Maya.
Hello everyone, I'm new here, I wanted to share my last class work, I'm a videogame art student at UA School, I hope you like my cyberpunk environment, I appreciate comments and critiques about my work, thank you.
I'm new to the polycount forum... I used to be a VFX Artist working in television and now I'm trying to break into the videogame industry. This is my first attempt at creating models for gaming. Any comments, advice, or critiques are appreciated Thanks!
@Eric Chadwick Thank you Sir for the warm welcome. If I am not wrong, I did post on the waywo? (3D) 2022 under the section of 3D & 2D Videogame Art and asked for feedback. Do I have to post in another place?

I am very interested in knowing the answer to this question too Been considering taking non-related to videogame courses and pass a degree to be able to apply to an american work permit. (and learn new stuff at the same time)
Yep. I thought it was a bit thin on real information but it was definitely well executed. Could very well be the intro to a videogame. Since I hate streaming, here's a download link: http://www.knife-party.net/movs/barry.mov
You will be rich working in videogames, you could buy a ferrari!, and a 99% of piracy won't suposse nothing bad LOL Jokes apart, it's like another job, very bad paid if you work in the wrong place.
