This is what I have so far in unity. I am adding the last few trinkets around to fill the scene. I am trying to use a hinge joint and a windzone to move the upper window. Is there any trick to that?
I've had strange results in Unity with cubemaps and other similar stuff. In the end I had to normalize the viewDir inside of the fragment shader before calculating the reflection vector. It's an extra normalize, which sucks, but it fixed the problem.
Love your work man. I've been working in Unity for the last 4 years and this has inspired me once more to start learning UDK. Keep it up! Also digging your rock sculpts and foliage.
we will be using the unity engine for the game, also this island is a much smaller island and less detailed because it is the small island of the coast of the bigger island. this will be a starting area and you will slowly move your way up the island.
No idea whats going on in your shader and I dont really want to install Unity right now. But! You should take a renderDoc capture of the glitch and you might be able to identify where its going wrong.
Here is a WIP of two buildings from an old west scene I am working on for a class group project. The buildings are in the Unity 3d engine, and I have two weeks until they are due. Comments and critiques are appreciated.
New Update: I'm including this new bundled bonus asset with every single perk. You can check out this asset here. http://fatboxsoftware.com/unity-shop/4574957484/modular-race-track-kit/8552042
Hey Ian, Hope you and your family are doing well. Wondering if you are available for futuristic 3D animations on which also include environmental 3D visualizations in Unity? Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Oh well, "maybe lying by omission" fingers crossed. I hope they go with some kind of x86 OS at least to make it easier to attract third parties. What does this mean for Unity/UE4 support in the future?
Should have updated this sooner. Currently working on a junk shop to go inside one of the train carriages. Still in Maya, but moving into Unity soon. Trying to damage/add some character to the objects. Any feedback is appreciated!
