Thanks Di$array! Yah I think I'll just give him a generic lava sword for now and maybe switch things up later if I feel like it. Here's a muscle blockin in zbrush so far. The legs are hard :(
Vig: Sorry if this is a "dumb" question, but what are gobo's? From the way you say light dome, I believe you're referring to fake GI (lights arrayed in a dome around the object) but I've never heard of gobos Eric: What's xnormal?
Hey sorry fade1, was busy with some stuff. After some inspection and looking at the commands more in depth i found you can query the result by doing this: string $array[] = `headsUpDisplay -q -sr HUDPolyCountTriangles`; Got the name through the mel files in startup in the initHudScripts file.
I'm not sure what you mean here. You may need to use global functions or a global struct to keep functions persistent after changing a scene. I think you're going to have to process the string. I don't think there's anyway to return an array of callbacks.
Di$array : Haha, I'm so stoked for season 2 too! =D Thanks for your critics! So I pulled out the shoulders, brought down his eyebrows, split the coat tail and sculpted his hair and hood pulled back. Next step, retopology!
Nice start. But that color render do not really show ship details, it's to dark and/or textures just missing details. You should consider more flashy windows on ship, plates, communication arrays, canons etc. Afterall it's spaceship it doesn't need to be realistic, just to look cool.
you can also use the array tool if its flat with show preview checked. I think the most important thing is that I just learned the shift-drag clone menu has a copies function. When did this get added? I don't recall this in Max9.
Yeah I gave it a shot before posting, I wasn't able to figure out how to deal with the array I was getting containing vertex numbers, the order never seemed correct. I posted over at CGTalk too, maybe one of those guru's will have an idea.
shes looking great Lilith :) reminds me of megan fox but not as annoying hehe Di$array - Im hoping my brothers gonna do that cable too, great stuff so far :) Ged - looks great, glad you got him in
I too am having the local thunk array error pop up. Forgot to grab the Listener screen/text. I'll try and remember to tomorrow, as it works fine at home, but today was the first time I've needed it at work, and it gave me that error.
