It's all possible through shaders and material definition, but even that would be pretty expensive. Question is, what would be your platform then? I can see something like working for RT rendering in a game engine (EI: UDK dumping movie shots) without any stuttering, but for anything more interactive, it wouldn't be really…
yep thats what i was gonna say. we are an anti industry. one that isnt needed but at the same time is really important. entertainment is an interesting thing. and as time goes on games become a more accepted medium for escaping reality and not thinking about things. much easier than movies because they last longer and are…
Yes, I believe Quixel has been installed on C at some point. Are there any folders, files or registry keys that are not removed during the uninstallation that can interfere? D: is a not a network drive. It's a standard HDD where most programs and games are installed, C: is a system SSD. There are no non-alphanumerical…
@7bajwa Now that you mention it, I've asked where I can learn how to implement that kind of interactivity, more specifically grass that moves apart when the player goes through it, but nobody answered. Do you happen to know how, could you direct me toward some good tutorial? =o
In my opinion, that's at least as bad as being a douchebag in "both worlds". Seems to me it needs a certain amount of deceptiveness or at least interesting double standards if someone is happily a dick online, while making sure they come across as nice people in real life, or wherever needed to make sure it doesn't…
Yeah its weird, they wont just stop working without some user interaction. I had the “Figure Mode” issue happen to me, no problem there just undo I think its pretty common to forget about it. Also check if you did not move the mesh by accident, that produces some similar issues.
The color shift to pair with the given box isn't a bad way of pairing, but the box and message field really need more saturation to pop as the image the viewer should be attracted too. The rest of it feel like good additions. The milk in the bowl was a good visual separator for the important interactable elements vs the…
Im prettys sure Its the same one. And its largely because there is little to no hope of MSFT/FASA Interactive puting out another mechwarrior title any time soon. Mechassault doesnt count, that is an FPS with torso twist. Also according to the BT:MI guys they have the OK from WizKids to use the Battletech IP.
1. jim carrey (just imagine 2 of him interacting with each other. hilarious!) 2. schwarzenegger ... (-"get down!" .. -" no! you get down!") 3. hmmm... dali lama or bar refaeli? ... world peace vs. world tits. damn. (might as well - [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3BgcLc7Lck[/ame])
Just picked it up last night and WOW. The facial anims are pretty impressive as are the full body environment interaction. The textures are beautiful. It's rare to see something half-assed in-game. And it's Half Life! It's like putting on an old pair of shoes but instead of them being worn out, they're brand spanking new…
