Progress on The Sylph. Looking at older images I realise I might need to do a bit of work on the breast and the muscle where the breast joins the shoulder but I think I;m basically ready to begin sculpting detail. Resting at about 13k polys atm, target is under 25k
PNG Photo Pack: Asian Architecture Download on Artstation This PNG Photo Pack contains 134 cutout images about the traditional Chinese and Korean architecture (which look like the traditional Japanese architecture). You will find houses, temples, dojos, huge city doors from the urban and countryside.
I remember seeing this on youtube a while back and it sprang to mind when I read your forum topic. Pretty interesting, though I don't know if it will help with what you are trying to accomplish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zMgJqLcXJs&t=0s&list=PL7F6AD1B71E4561AD&index=106
I heard some numbers being thrown around that Facebook only had 400Mil in cash on hand. The rest of the compensation was to the tune of 1.6 billion in Facebook shares. (No creditable sources to back this up yet tho) err.. make that 1.54 billion. Facebook shares dropped +3.5% , early this morning

So i Added a bit of a breakdown of the destructable building i did showing that i understand normal map generation. http://chrisredshaw.com/?portfolio=132 Is this a good presentation of the work? Im currently also working on this which will eventually make a nice edition and show some highpoly modeling skills.
I went ahead and pitched in $130 for this campaign. I don't currently have an Android-based device for testing software, and this sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I threw in the extra $30 because I want two controllers. I've always loved local multiplayer, and wanted to develop for that.
http://www.loonygames.com/content/1.6/totb/ and http://www.bakaneko.com/howto/computer/3d/character/page01.html are pretty good tutorials. However I'd say the best place to start is to just...well...start. Block out the character with primitives and model over top of that if you have to, just practice.
