I literally just noticed this now, but how is her water drape going to interact with her new hair? I love the new hair btw, wish it was actually like that. I'm loving this piece so much though, can't wait to see it finished.
Inside the rollout definition you can't actually execute code. You can only define the UI and what happens when you interact with the UI. But, you can execute code once the rollout is created. on WalkcycleCreator open do ( global tijd = TijdSpinner.value )
Trying using Lights which have 'Toggleable' or 'Movable' in the names, and see if the changes anything. Also, almost always move your mesh after putting in a new light. Sometimes UDK leaks out after long sessions and the lights don't interact correctly.
I've a lot of unfinished work to do but I'll be putting them on the back burner for a while since I'm going on vacation for a week. Here is my entry for the new event: I'll still be interacting in the forums but no progress will be done this next week. Have a good one! :)
Your best pieces are the Montana Football and the last one ( but this gets a little bit confusing since the whole clip is in 1 color and when the 2 character interacts they are not that clear) And I agree about the movement of the giraffe , also I would simplify it to 1 camera
I hate hearing this since I was working at Disney Interactive at the time this studio was founded. But after the POTC game was cancelled it seemed like trouble was on the horizon. Hope everyone can find jobs quickly! The few guys I met there were very awesome.
Wow that Vinni Puh is awesome. I never liked the disney Pooh bear as a kid, so boring and dull, interaction between characters seemed slow and lifeless, etc... This on the other hand is really fun, I love his little song at the end haha.
rick, i think you might be missing the point of these new fangled so-called 'video games' and their exciting 'interactive' nature it's annoying this actually looks quite good, because it's against all my principles to play any game that shouts "dude!" at me
And that's the root of it right there. Being able to convey complex ideas in an interactive medium requires an established and effective visual vernacular. When you want to rewrite the whole thing in a new, creative way, it takes a LOT of extra work, a lot of extra time, and there's a lot of risk.
I just recently bought the game from a bargain bin. The controls are hard to use, but I'm getting use to them quickly. The way they're setup for interaction within the levels is much easier for me than playing a generic console FPS like Halo.
