Hey, I just tried this using the sweep modifier on a spline, same results. But toggling on and off a bunch of random buttons i found an option that fixes it, the option is called 'banking'. So you might have to switch to the spline>sweep option over lofting, unless you can find a similar option under loft.
Confused too. Is it like when you go to Object Mode, but you realize only after that you right clicked over that wrong model? Are you specifically just wanting to change the hotkey? If you have Maya 2016 or newer you can switch modes with the Modeling Toolkit, click the buttons instead of strange menus or hotkeys.
Will the game have to use those awful on screen buttons, like all my other impossible to play iphone games. But yeah it is a goldrush, a lot of people i know have been rushing to get something out to take advantage of that early ipad frenzy. wonder what kind of game would showcase the new platform, hmmm.
Same here.... Usually happen when I start Photshop and Maya at the same time... ... or when I close and open my laptop too lot of time without shutdown... ... sometime need to reboot the computer... or only photoshop... ... or just choosing a new brush with right button in the list it will make the intuos working again :D
Not that I know of. It's a good habit to just save every so often though. I have actions set up while working on a texture, to save out revisions of the PSD and TGA with the push of 1 action button. So I do that like every 10 minutes. Just need to break the habit of not doing it, I suppose.
sry to bump this old thread, but there was no real answer that had helped me and i had this same problem. what solved it for me was installing service pack 1. it enabled the "show hardware map in viewport" button in the mat editor that was for some reason left behind, passed out drunk in someone's front yard, that party…
Starting to get a bit frustrated with painting the color layers. This is my first venture painting a maquette, and I miss the "un-do" button with a heated passion as we speak. However, I hear from other artists that it takes some getting used to, but if you are patient, you can get good at it. ...Lets hope they were right…
I would go for using the 3D page for the Home Page, simple and sweet. Less buttons to push /navigate and you will get straight to the point of what your portfolio is being used for. On a further note, if you have a digital 2d art page you might want a link that leads back to the Home/ 3D page.
Where are my back buttons?! That's a big deal when using a windows mouse. It also doesn't work with my taskbar autohide :/ Safari stays on top always. That and I wasn't able to save an image to my harddrive yesterday. Overall it would be a nice alternative, but it needs a lot more work before it can leave beta.
Your Rotate Tool is(was) set to "Use Selection Center." It needs to be set to "Use Object Pivot." On the Main Toolbar there's a dropdown list that has the words "World", "View", and "Local". Set that to "Local." The graphical button after is also a dropdown list. You'll see Icons with Boxes and Dots. Choose the icon with…
