That's your origin axis. You can turn it off via Display > heads up display > origin axis. -

Are all your transforms frozen? Make sure that all your objects have a scaling factor of 1 on all axis. -

That works if you're UV shell is aligned properly. If its up axis doesn't point toward the top of the normal map in Photoshop, then it will come out wrong on the model. I'm not going to bother installing nDO just to cook up an example but anyone who tries it will see what I'm talking about. -

Hello Maybe try the normal combine node and check if it's set on directX instead of openGL. I had the same problem when importing a normal map made from an other soft. Try to bake your hipoly directly in substance or maybe if you are using an other soft try to invert one axis (maybe de y axis?) good luck! -

Make sure you have reset XForm before unwrapping. Check to make sure the face isn't inverted before using Relax. Don't use "Start Relax", but instead click "Apply". Either way, doing a quick planar along an axis for an object facing that angle would be as "relaxed" as it needs to be. -

Nice!!! Great tip to add two different turbosmooth modifiers to create the high poly axis so clear and smooth. I will try the nex time I'd have to create any prop. ^__^ Would be awesome to share the way you make the baking and texture!!! -
