internally usually perforce for the data with externals add svn, dropbox, gdrive, box and other open source or cloud services to the mix for asset tracking, the most common we run into are Shotgun/Shotgrid, Jira, Alienbrain internally we use svn and jira/confluence for our stuff and use whatever the clients want us to use. -

Yeah for a portfolio site, most of those extra features are a waste. You can keep a backup of your website on dropbox and your computer. You can install Google analytics and set up gmail to handle your email, so it doesn't matter how much site tracking and email tools they have. -

It's good that some of us are not completely desensitized to excessive violence, shouldn't give people crap for wanting to steer clear of what they don't like tbh. Also Makkon if you're building up a folder of great scenery and lighting etc from the show, could you possibly dropbox it for us lazy ones :P -

Good idea about Dropbox. BTW I removed Ctrl+W from Zoom Region Mode but Keyboard Shortcut Override still needed to be toggled on for the Weld Selected hotkey to work. I couldn't find Weld Selected (UVW) in the UI configuration. Is it there? -

Hi, you can't link images directly from your hard drive, you will have to upload them to an image hosting service such as Photobucket, Imageshack or Dropbox. Or your own FTP, if you have it. Then you can link them and they will display here. -

Hmm, grinding noise? Has it been dropped? Probably wouldnt make a grinding noise unless its been dropped. If it hasnt indeed been flung across the room, you should be able to retrieve most of the data. Search the forum, lots of threads on this. Oh and get yourself a dropbox! :) And back up to DVD regularly. -

In that ref image you showed, the text and crown has a large chamfer but your text doesn't. A large chamfer will read so much better in the bake aswell. Also the black base of the postbox is quite bumpy, consider doing that in PS in the normal map. Or in zbrush. I would add some geometry for the placard and dropbox.
