Westwood was a studio that made blockbuster hits. EA bought them and they started releasing a string of lackluster-to-bullshit titles, like Renegade. ....there's no harm in having a textured model animated in there, as long as the texture doesn't detract from the animation ( ie: its not horrendous )... Rigging depends on the studio.
