Disconnecting the LUT manually every time via the hyper shader became tedious I made myself a shelf button with this mel code inside: disconnectAttr file9.outColor MI_GenericUberShader.TEX_brdf_lut; Of course you would have to adjust it to your materials name. Surely some real mel wizard would also know how to run this on…
I call shenanigans. I've been working my backside off since new years and I'm only just 75% done with one courier. The truth is obvious: You're wizards. Seriously though, I am in love with every last item you've put up for this event. I'll be buying everything, especially that spiderling. Amazing work!
There's probably a script around on it, you'd just find the vector between the start and end points and move the intervening vertices to the closest point along that line. I could do it in Uscript, but no clue about maxscript. :( Renderhjs one of the resident script wizards probably has something, or will likely be able to…
Sketchfab has a Solidworks plugin that does this. You might want to look into how they are doing it. Also Keyshot technically is doing the same thing when it brings in Solidworks files. It is converting it to polygons based on the image quality settings in Solidworks. I have no idea how either of them do this though. that…
i am not a programmer, but i know that you can set the tiling for parts of a map via script so it should be possible to output different parts of one map into different slots like normal, emissive etc but this would most likely need some wizard-level programming skills to do that, correct me if i am wrong
I'm definitely NOT a fan of the fantasty genre (that wizard and elves crap is boring as it gets) but I still loved Morrowind with all its flaws and I can't wait for this. I can see it already - my thief character stealing everything that's not nailed down, and even then... I am, however, the #1 Fallout fan. Crossing my…
Bay Raitt works at Valve now? That's crazy. I used to visit his forums regularly, and read his tuts when he was still the mad Mirai wizard. That was a great app, too. Sad it never caught on really. There are other ones like it though, so no big D AMAZING TF2 video though. The facial animation is outstanding.
I'd say the disconnect how we all experience it is entirely personal. In terms of which one is best. Honestly they are all much of a muchness. Instead i would invite you to go for a more natural pose. Arching your back like that only happens when you are intentionally posing for a photo. I would have her bend forward and…
@AlexKola thanks! Yes I started with a paper/pencil sketch, that I put on top layer in multiply mode, I since then cleaned out the sky tho. A bit more backstory? A wizard in his tower above the forest is having trouble with his experiment, the marten is looking back at us like, oh lord... he's at it again... Cleaned update:
Hmmm, this yeah I went from this jackal girl to this wizard dude. I am still trying to improve my anatomy skills alongside with material definition I suppose. But mostly I think I'm trying to work smarter and more efficient... Whatever that means exactly... I'd like to try some environment and some hardsurface stuff…
