Well, here is my previous outline code: Here is my outline: No idea where to go from there since it throws up errors for me. Also, I tried ImSlightlyBored technique, and the lines remain, even when I tried creating padding to the textures and creating a slight bias for the Fmod.
Hi, just wanted to post this image: Orange lines for edge loops, more evenly quadded geo will give you nicer sculpting results than having to 'fight' errors with bad geo. What you have isn't terrible but could be cleaned up to make sculpting a little easier.
From the wiki. MigNormalTools Nice stuff tea. I tried out that worldAlignedTexture like day before yesterday and kept spitting out error for float4 to float3 (or something like that) will try again and hopefully it works. Also the tip about sloped edges is awesome along with the vertex ao stuff!
it's all trial and error, sometimes you can cheat it and just find a solution that makes for a smooth lowpoly even if it doesn't work out for the high you can just paint it out in the bake keep an eye on the top of the A pillar, got some weirdness happening but loving it so far man!
Thanks guys! I'll give that a whirl, EarthQuake :) Some quickie bakes - AO, DISP, and a couple different CAV maps. Haven't really adjusted anything yet - just throwing them in real quick. --edit-- Ugh - normals error on the butt of the gun, near the bottom round thingee. Will fix...
thx, i really though i did posted it for nothing since i did the error and at the moment, i'm reading your pdf file from here, i learned alot of stuff ! anyway, you need to update the links because some of them were not availlable any more.
UT2004. I'm pretty sure. Sequence not found errors will ocur as long as the corresponding sequence is missing, throw in a 1 frame dummy animation. I'm not sure but doesn't the doublejump lead into the floating anim? There's a jump and a float anim (float being for when your drop doesn't end with the jump animation).
Small update from last night put down more vegetation, fixed col bug dansh found amd fixed addition collision error found in later playtesting. You can grab latest version here (require may udk or newer) http://chrisholden.net/dm-openhall.zip
As Synaesthesia says adjusting the units should fix it, another option may be to enable and adjust the viewport clipping plane. If you're interested as to why this happens you can google Z-buffer/clipping errors…
