I feel like these plants look better. It's 67k tri in the scene so far including the foliage. With LODs and mesh hiding it's going to reduce enough to be applicable for game engines.
"Include your name and a link to your portfolio in your submission post." I don't have an online portfolio(yet). Does this mean that I can't join the contest? Is it obligatory?
Hello, there is an uninstaller now, I included it in the latest update :) I also compacted the UI and corrected dock version as Othoap suggested for the screen real estate. It is always improvable though :)
That tree is much better As for texturing, sculptris is rather capable at 3D painting, i.e. like the following tree made in sculptris, including texture & normal. inspired by your tree btw. :)
This is a great tool for the intended workflow- concepting in Cycles at the design phase. Trying out the toolset and included decals as well as the decal knife tools. Very streamlined and relatively intuitive workflow.
Seriously, not the place for this. Especially since these are just your opinions. Many people, including myself, loved Reckoning. Sad to hear. I was looking forward to seeing the Amalur universe expand.
There are a few users here, though certainly a small minority. There was a recentish poll on which software polycounters use and it wasn't even bothered to be included : / Personally it's Zbrush, Softimage, and xNormal for me.
I'd like them to develop it as a separate app and a different mode, like zBrush includes a sculptris mode, but if you just want just sculptris it can work as a stand alone.
Yeah just use lightfunctions. You can add include/exclude volumes for those as well. Then just get a proper material going. It doesn't look that bad so far.
I personally had envisioned being able to walk through it. I think it would be awesome to walk around and see everyone's work and find little easter eggs that they include.
