well I think there is something missing in your explanation. If you don't have a problem when the uvs overlapp then why don't just combine all objects to one? 1 uv == 1 object or 1 uv layout == 1 texture == 1->n objects or 1 uv shell == 1 object -> n copys of the same uv shell overlapping == n objects So it might be good… -

Photomerge is fickle, it'll spit out crap results if you're not militant about your sequences. If just one shot is an outlier, the perspective gets all screwed.
