I agree with praetus here that we aren't gonna get all the cool stuff we wanna do. It would be nice if it is so, though. Medieval dude appears dull, maybe, I think because he's kind of mainstream. Tough dude in armors. Yeah, I'm sure there will more of him. But what's also important is to recreate this specific dude in 3d.…
I think there's a lot of potential in this design. The weak components, in my opinion, are: -the horns; he already has a great mean face and the horns, how they're originating from the forehead and how slender they look kinda weakens the character's vibe; taking the character in a more feminine direction; you're suggesting…
An other sketchbook with an awesome title :) I finished my hydralisk model and I will make a new one so I decided to open a sketchbook instead of polluting the forum with multiple thread. So here is the hydralisk: Currently I am doing a warhammer ork. I did the rough sculpt in zbrush and I'm cleaning it by redoing the…
Tank Chepri the Scarab Queen Story Chepri was one of the scarab-queens in the desert of Shurima. She was known for her strong armor and her loyalty to protect her people. She still got buried with sand and was forgotten over time, because of unknown reasons. Until her armor was unearthed by a descendant of her, that…
Right on guys, tried to take suggestions into account and resculpted parts of that boot. It's still different from the concept - I sortof went for the riveted, new batmobile look with sharp tank triangles. Also added the generic (not sculpted!) giro I want to reuse all over the place. This actually proved to be very…
Excellent model! Here's a list of possible improvements: -Broaden the shoulders -Increase the size of the eyes -Move the horns lower down the face -Broaden the horns -Broaden the neck -Shorten the legs -Add a slight bevel to the hard edges of the armor (specifically the armor piece covering the torso) -Add…
so i need some pointers. Since i haven't done an armored hard surface character before i don't know the best way to retop this. Should i make this all one mesh and bake it all together (obviously the head would be separate) Should i break it up into chunks and retop those individually ie. torso/back armor, boots, helmet,…
This may be harsh but that chest armor looks completely abhorrent. And I don't say this as one of those fringe feminists who want to eradicate all "attractive" designs in games (ironically, I was debating this subject week long and defending artists right to do it) but the armor how would I say... it lacks rhythm. Like, it…
The thing is the 3D models don't actually sticks to the character design. Armored woman seems to be completely hallucinated and the blond woman is too muscular and her face is also completely different. So from afar it may look okay but in a serious production pipeline this wouldn't fly.
