Grats on getting your Blanka showcased on Kotaku, Josh. They did an article on the competition, and your Blanka was one of the images they show. =] http://kotaku.com/5151083/what-if-street-fighter-iv-was-built-on-the-unreal-engine
Nice character! When sculpting the blank try and relax the pose. Feet apart and splayed. Hips slightly forward, arms 45 degrees and hands relaxed and or fingers splayed to combat the rake look of the fingers in the end result. With the hips forward turn the figure to the side view and balance out the shoulders (backwards)…
Hullo! After the big brawl ended and as I've turned into a Street Fighter nerd I wanted to make another character. Kind of in the same vein as Brawl, but less reinterpretation. I'm trying to make an older and Dark Side Sakura, when at the roads end and she has to go all evil to be more fighty. Akuma, Evil Ryu and Oni being…
We recommend people not blank out their posts. Instead it's best to add a Reply and explain how you solved the problem. This can help others who might have a similar problem in the future, when they find your topic. Posts also help increase your rank. That said, if you still just want this thing deleted, let me know and I…
Kudos on the work, and welcome to Polycount! I worked 6 years at Wayfair, helping lead the 3D team to make environments and renders like this. We developed a bunch of guidelines for how to make and light and shoot scenes. First thing, the lighting is very warm, not matching the reference. I’d suggest adjusting it brighter,…
Loving this so far! But the big blank-color windows are kind of boring as-is. I really like the feel of this ref… wondering how you could capture a bit more of this feel?
yea don't do that. The only way I've found to reverse that, is to reset the UI and leave them in the toolbar they belong, drag the unwanted stuff out and drag in what I want. You can drag your toolbar and dock it on either side (running vertical) but not ontop. You can also dock things running vert on the left side of the…
Nice!!! It is going great! I sometimes lack the imagination to fill in the blanks left by the concept, it's something I must practice more. Thanks a lot for showing me!
Renaissance masters traced and copied work whilst apprenticed, a relevant technique in order to train hand eye coordination and if indeed ai prompt projected reference executed by 'paint-by-numbers' then traditional training is still required to manually fill in blank space, with oils no less onto large gesso primed…
was the original post deleted? it appears blank to me. I've seen this happen a few times - a post is blank. And a couple times I got tagged that somebody responded to me, but the response is either blank or not there at all. Just asking because maybe it is a bug or did original poster just delete their content?
