Self portrait Initially I wanted to to this for the Starcraft Remastered portrait contest but I found out about it too late and I had no time to finish it before the deadline, anyways it seemed like a fun theme so I went on doing it. I used Milo Kachinsky, a member of Raynor's rebel group as inspiration for this piece. -

Thanks Adam :) , I was originally thinking about using NURBS in Maya to define the initial shape but decided to try plane modelling first. If all else fails I will head to maya to define the hull there, may just finish the entire model in Maya from that point though I am much more accustomed to Max :) -

I recently tried max 2015 to test the new quad chamfer. My initial thought is they broke viewport navigation. It seems pretty much unusable and several threads online show other people have the same issue. Hope that's something you guys get fixed quickly, as there's plenty of cool stuff that was added otherwise. -

To be honest, you would benefit most from scrapping what you have now and going through the tutorial that woogity posted before trying to continue on this project. Latest update, things slowed down recently, had to jump onto other stuff temporarily. Initial test inside ue4, basic subdermal skin profile material test, shirt texture testing and hair alpha testing. plenty of issues with model coming through and dodgy normal maps but just posting up progress. -

Ran it and got screenshots. Didnt change much besides path names. This is on 2015. What version are you running it on? EDIT: Spoke too soon. Looks like it replaces the exisiting screen.
