I lied. :) I got a question. For those of you who seen/used Houdini at their jobs. - To solving what type of tasks/problems Houdini was used? Actually, second question is for you all that work in games. - What you would like to see made in Houdini to aid you in making games? Tools? Tutorials? Anything else? Can you give…
Thanks everyone - seem to be getting closer with this - There is a small dialogue box that pops up in Zbrush that says - Mismatch points order - and recalculating and from what I can find online, this is the bad boy. I can find threads where Max users are having this issue and it sounds exactly the same! However, I don't…
Axi5 Thank you a lot! i tweak a bit the settings of format and nowit solves the problem a bit. Also i notice something i didn't expect, the less samples(and more noise) the less banding (i supose because of that noise). Anyways it seems strange to me that in the preview of the render it looks perfect and when i save the…
This is really unfortunate guys, I'm extremely sorry about this. The licensing system we use is third party and we're trying to figure out how to solve this problem with the developer. Meanwhile please feel free to add me to Skype (teddybeargbg) and I will help you get going again, hopefully we can even find a permanent…
This is generally caused by a triangulation mismatch between the baking software and the rendering software. To solve this you'll need to export a triangulated mesh and rebake the normal maps, and use the same triangulated mesh in every application that you're viewing the mesh in. When using quads or ngons, different…
I use cloud services to bake up my data. 25GB OneDrive + 100GB Copy + 2GB DropBox. Started using them around 3 years ago when i lost all my scripts by accident. I bake finisshed models, textures, rigs etc + all program settings are stored there too. Anything that is not cache is backed there. Problem solved.
Hi Obscura, So basically i was right when i mention using many assets from megascans would seriously impact the performance! Like you say i will have to test a few thing to see how fps get hit. Also it's seem unclear if the tessellation issue has been solved in UE4 even after reading a few posts on this?
Gun control won't solve anything, it'll just give the nuts "easier targets"... Crazy people WILL ALWAYS HAVE GUNS, no matter what law you throw at them... your not supposed to have explosives.... yet this 24 year old nutbag had them? along with many rifles and other weapons. Stop with the gun control crap, it wouldn't help…
I think zou have some problems with color understanding. All scene have soooooo much color in it. Too much green. This cannot be solved via color correction in UDK, its came from textures. Trees lookin almost good. You can try to remove few planes to get some volume to it (Idk how to say that :D )
It could possibly be that, if those are 2 meshes meeting at the point where that seam is, you need to point the vertex normals straight up 90 degrees for both the mesh pieces, where they meet. That is if I'm understanding this situation correctly... I know that issues like this have been solved using the FBX file formats…
