New version is available: 13.9.16 I've added a system tray icon like requested, and updated menus for saving presets. I also made the preset list box text a little bigger, and changed some other minor UI style elements. Download it from the same place as usual: http://lazynezumi.com Let me know what you think! :)
I was going back and forth with different layouts but none seemed to really work. Holding Jarvan like that was a really stiff element I wanted to remove, Sions pose wasnt that dynamic too. For now I went with a more Frazetta like layout. And so far I like where it is going, the problem is that its not a typical splash art…
Thanks guys! Yeah, for sure. I must have gotten too excited or something. Will definitely go in and try to fix that. Yeaah, that scope never did make much sense to me usability-wise. I'm sort of just combining elements I like from real compound bows and general technology stuff out there. Glad it seems to have worked out.…
Looking very nice, very clean. I know this was inspired by Tor's scene but right now I think its looking like just a copy of what he already did instead of using what he did as inspiration and making it your own. Hope you can inject some cool creative elements to make this stand out and look unique.
My experience with UDK is to make your objects one smoothing group, and one smoothing group only. Then bake your normals etc. The end object looks right. If you must have separate groups, break the separate bits to their own elements so they don't ever try to share verts. Edit: Also make sure that planar face is actually…
This MP-443 automatic pistol was created in 2017 for Noble Empire's World of Guns project. Dispite it action is pretty common for modern pistols, it was one of most complicated pistols that we made so far. The reason is in its shapes with lots of milled elements. I guess they made most of them to simply reduce the overal…
Eq: I did mention using smoothing groups, but I failed to mention that he'd absolutely need the smoothing groups to fix the issue. Ofcourse, doing it in photoshop is a good option as well, but in cases where you have a lot of repeated elements like these, randomising them in 3d makes for a very nice (and fast) effect that…
You mean this script maybe? http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/fumefx-rgb-light-rig It's not hard to setup the lighting rig manually. Here's an old tutorial for Max that shows the rig: http://www.bencloward.com/tutorials_normal_maps11.shtml With some renderers you're able to set up a normal map render element, also…
yeah its all modular most of what you can see Splits off into Parts. i dont have any. concept art for it i am just referencing hard surface Objects and seeing other artist hard surface stuff for inspiration. i find it easier to work in zbrush for the Creative elements then SubD modeling all the finer details in at the…
changes made with the design and composition. Some more asymmetrical elements, like the the hood and the breast plate. Also took the diamond that's usually on his pauldrond and implemented it as a fastener for the breast plate. I have a free weekend ahead of me, so I'm hoping to update by Monday! Feedback is welcome, I'm…
