A mix. Simply using a tiling texture for each mat type would work, but it's low effort and kind of meh looking a lot of the time. For a load of props, unique/atlased RGB masks might be worth considering. So a mix of generic tiling materials, with a mask to blend them with context to the object. an example for metal it… -

Going off of this, the related sub http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme is super great as well. You just say what you want and people post builds for you, where /r/buildapc is more "Hey, I made this build, what do you think?" Either way, both subs are great. -

Well you just press R to cycle between the scale modes. Not sure if you can disable it, but when I see that my scale didn't react the way I wanted it to, I just press R until I get the scale option I want. There are 3 different scale types. -

think lego. And make sure all your assets snap to clean numbers units like 32, 64, 128, 256 ext. paint textures this way too. i always looking for that in the portfolios we recieve. Always snap verts that touch the grid to the grid (for environmnet assets)... always. -R -R -

Headus (UV Layout) Relax function
I've been using Headus 2.06 and the R hot key would relax verts in uv mode kind of like a brush. Now I'm using 2.08 and R is used for straightening out square and rectangle shapes perfectly straight. I cant seem to find the old relax function in the user guide. Is it gone or have I just missed something? -

紅獅 maybe will do, should be sounds cooler, same meaning and shorter form, as for horizontal writing, from left to right or right to left i think both will do? current chinese is L to R, old writing is R to L. you can google and it will show result with 1-2 logo with that 2 words...
