the textures are pale, gray so is the rendering. The AO bake is also to obvious - there is to much gray scale noise in his face but first perhaps create a prober render and scene setup with 3 point light for example and FG renderer such as MR.
Definitely try out MoP's suggestion. A couple of area lights with FG + bouncing turned on offers more control and is a notch faster than skylight :) You can set the number of bounces here :) (in case you didn't know before)
Render out various decent looking renders from the same angle, (can be as basic as just a rim light and AO passes, and some FG ones) and just combine them all in photoshop and layer and tweak them (the opacity and what not)
There's a secret easter egg in the Outlaws' toilet They forgot Terminal Terror / P3D GCS, it had toilets and urinals, i think Lethal Tender had some too And monster truck madness' outhouses "HEY I'M STILL IN HERE"
Thanks for the crit guys - heres a 2nd pass at it. The legs are bugging me abit but probs can get away with it. The last pass will just be fleshing the fg/bg Gonna keep this outfit minimal , because quite frankly, lost all interest in this :O
Maya bakes fine (except for AO perhaps), and baking and rendering are two different things :) What are you trying to render? And what renderer are you using? I dont remember it as being particularly slow, unless the FG and GI were off the charts

Umm... every console released will have critical errors and some. You got the shitty end of the deal and got one of the ones that died. I remember hearing about shit loads of people with GC, PS1/2 and Xbox's which died out. :S

One of the biggest problems I've had with MK lately is the fact that it takes no skill to win. (including the DS/GC versions, although I really liked the DS version), it's sad to hear that it's (items) still a major factor in deciding who actually wins.
