This is a page for my Work In Progress skin for the 70's and 80's Sci-fi contest. My idea is a sort of Terminator style robot for the ak-47. I will be updating this with images for opinions as I work on it.

I think i finished my VP 70. I'm not 100% satisfied (especially with the polymer), but for my first time using photoshop, i think it's ok. Thanks for the feedback :D
So for my first actual piece that I'm going to do a low poly and bake is this little turret. Here's the blocking stage so far. It's about 60-70% there right now.
I was thinking, maybe you should have a different floor for the other characters to dance on. A 70s disco floor would have been ideal. Take a look at the image i've uploaded.
I dunno about not achieving the high bar, I can forgive some oddities when I hear that score, and see it with that beautiful shop-worn 70's futurism. Bring it on!

It could not work because %70 of the voters doesnt know anything about modelling stuff. They just up vote because of its look. And with this change maybe they wont even bother voting
HDD failure is a fact of life even with SSD. What you do to prepare for it is the thing that matters most. Picking up a SSD big enough to hold an OS is at least $70 (16GB).
