If I might be one of those annoying English language Nazi people for a moment (and probably make a whole bunch of nasty spelling and grammatical errors myself while I'm at it), Seraphim is a plural or Seraph. His armour looks like it won't allow for any bending at the knees.
Damn I love mental ray AO for RTT. You may want to try turning off the cage in the projection mapping dialog box. I do that but still adjust a cage depth anyway. It tends to get rid of a lot of the red artifact errors for me.
not exactly: object space normal maps won't bother about the object initial normals, so you can't have smoothing error, but on the other side they have half the precision (noise can appear) and you can't use mirrorring except using some tricks.
wow someones got some issues regarding humvees it'd seem... Good model, I agree about the paintjob though, but if its only a test model... there seems to be an arbitrary dent on the back panel mind, it looks like a smoothing error from it being flipped?
Those are some pretty impressive results, despite the minor error on your foot. It looks like your make-shift greenscreen will be very useful. Show us some sweet practical applications! I want to see you overlayed over a running game map!
hi there, i have been watching and reading a lot about how my model should be in quads, but from what i understood this is too make sub division better and cause no errors. But if i was working on a house for example that i plan to use as a game model, does it matter if not all of it is in quads?
I am wondering if someone has managed to get this PS plug-in to work correctly on this set-up. Mac OS 10.5.8 with Photoshop CS2. I've followed the installation closely but still get this error upon trying to run the action. TypeError: Undefined is not an object. Any help would be great! Thanks. Chris
Hey, I have 3ds max 2011 and I gave the whole 3ds max folder admin rights and stuff and I tried dragging the 3 point shader into view port and nothing happens. I tried dragging it onto max and it gave an error. I have windows 7. Can someone please help?
As thread title, max is baking my normalmaps in greyscale in the same fashion as a lightingmap, despite clearly having normalsmap checked in the RTT options. Any help would be much appreciated. Example (Yes, I'm aware of the cage errors I'd just rather fix the more fundamental problems first) Render settings:
Having some problems installing the plugin on 4.19. Tried on 2 different machines, and keep getting an error that says "Please Close Unreal Engine before installing the plugin". But Unreal Engine is NOT running. The Launcher is Not Running. Can I just download and install the plugin from github like every other plugin?
