Awww is that an old Blockbuster?! Yeah, ouch, sucks to be them :P Just a lil something from me. :) Poor little robin, ended up eating some of the suet in our yard to keep itself warm, since there are NO worms to be had when we get smacked with a wall of winter. -

This is a case study in how to properly choose a song for a game. So many multi-million dollar blockbusters have lackluster OSTs with maybe one or two somewhat memorable riffs, and here I am grinning like an idiot with a two key setup and one 90s synthpop song. -

I think we'll start to see AAA studios grooming more "pet projects" in addition to their blockbuster titles. The risk/overhead is relatively low, and we'll stop putting all our eggs in one basket in the process. A recent example might be Grow Home. -

Yup, games are games. The rise of Mobile and smaller developers is a global phenomena, you can actually ship an OK game that isn't a record smashing blockbuster and sustain your studio without layoffs. This is why you see people leaving the AAA space for mobile & f2p. -

Pawn Shops, at least around here, have a big selection of DVDs. A lot of people use them as basically rental stores. Buy a DVD, watch it, take it back and use it for trade against getting a different one. It was cheaper than renting from Blockbuster back in the day, and there were no late fees.
