Such a fun piece, executed near perfectly. Like Gsokol said, love the process sheets as well as the whole portfolio. Also, to reiterate, also recommend jumping away from the Carbonmade. My initial reaction "Oh shit, another carbonmade portfolio?" One of the best groupings of work on a Carbon made though ;) -

Settings are default. I played around with it initially but textures are so dependent on the lighting conditions I found it best to work with default lighting to properly gauge how the textures looked in engine. I'm possibly going to put this project on the back burner for now but keeps the crits coming if you have any. -

I thought about it. I initially intended it to be just a sculpt. However, I think I can get a lot more of the feel I want across if add color/materials. Perhaps after i do another piece (game model) i'll come back and turn it to game rez. -

Nice work indeed :o I like the architecture made for that view. I believe your lamps are too bright and visually speaking i am not a fan of your floor, I would stick with the initial design by getting much less colors variation or even none, and a uniform pattern instead. -

Yeah I noticed...hm...not initially impressed with the changes but I guess they'll grow on me...personally the commands on the space key aren't something I would put on such an accesible key... Anyone else know where the menus that used to be at the top toolbar (once you it pulled down) have gone? -

The last couple days has been brutal for lag. :S Are there any plans for more servers, or whatever networking sorcery is needed to help with that? Some of the tweets ive seen make it seem like the servers are all good now, and it was only the initial launch was crap. But im definitely seeing lag still. -

Hey. I found a bug on the website: http://take.ms/0ZXnE On-hover inspection for the preview gets over-layed by the page selector number. I'd suggest taking off the "position: relative;" css style from the active page-selector number's anchor, and giving it "position: initial;". That should solve the trick -

Thanks guys, really appreciate it. Technically its not really terrain :) I used landscape system for prototyping and initial composition to export height map to World Machine, add detail and import it back in as a static mesh. Workflow with World Machine and CE is slightly better than with UE as far as I know :)
