So the last 3 weeks i have been working halftime on a highpoly for a sniper-rifle, based on my own concept. During the 3 coming weeks I will Texture it and possibly animate it. So I was thinking that I would give it some urban camouflage textures with a digital pattern. Any feedback is appreciated.
WORKSHOP LINK http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=534812735 Spend a lot of time getting all the details and tiling right, turned out pretty nice even without wear Id say Its based on a real german WW2 urban camo. More images on the workshop page as always
I have started a new environment based on a run down urban alley. The scene will be compiled in UDK for final presentation. Prop presentation is done in Marmoset. I created one prop all the way to completion in hopes that i can use it as a style guide but before i go on i would love some input.
I actually have a fun answer for you. In 2013 I was looking to leave Turbine. I had a few art tests and phone interviews with studios. One of them, Edge of Reality in Austin, interviewed me. They specifically asked about the size of my Environments. Most of my work has been small in scope. My largest environment was maybe…
Cool, sounds like fun. Few design issues, the design of the "front of the turbine" looks a lot like the nozzle...or the back end..mainly from the fin things on the front. If you have the rear of the engine here, then the direction for everything else looks backwards. Also...the fact that you have headers on here is…
this was useful. tanks ill take that in mind on the next missile. i think i UVmaped this whit a plane UV in the middle so its the same both ways, it was intended to be only white and red. i guess i should have did an cylindrical UV mapping after i got the idea of a better texture. i also forgot the turbine xD tanks to…
its not about gaining access to a single machine, its about gaining access to the network its attached to, the computer is just an entry point. There are tons of webservers out there that are built into very powerful machines and most of the time they are left completely open. Stuxnet is an example of an attack that was…
I made this door this morning. It was just a little sculpting practice. I modeled this building today. It needs some things worked on; especially the roof. I'm not using a concept or anything as usual, but i'm liking how it looks so far. I haven't done any urban stuff.
Polycount... how the hell did I find it. mmm-- I think it was probably BladeKiller, whom I knew from Urban Terror (Q3 Mod). She suggested #md to me on EnterTheGame, went in there - and I think polycount was part of it. Thats probably the route -- can't be 100% though.
This mod is great! I played a good chunk last night and some more this morning. Definitely Ghost in the Shell inspired which is fine by me. Still getting a handle on which class / load out to use on each map. The one map with the overpasses in an urban locale is really fun.
