That's another great camera you'd certainly be happy with. My friend has one and it takes great pics. Only reason I didn't go with Canon was due to Nikkor lenses being superior (imo the optics are better), and the Nikon felt a bit more rugged/sturdy than the Cannon. But it's an awesome camera regardless.
I couldn't really see at that res, but it looks like the fpv weapons don't have huge smoothing errors all over them anymore :P Looks really nice with all the fire effects, I'm putting this on my "looking forward to" list Question - is Extraction Point considered to be cannon according to this sequel?
They used highly compressed care bears made out of lead and stuffed into tiny cartridges and delivered like a T-Shirt cannon at some kind of sporting event... His heart couldn't handle the love... I hear it was a rainbow striped one that finally got him. Perhaps they need to rethink their delivery method.
Hey man, its cool if you want to do ur own interpretation of him :) I just just didn't know if you were going for that. I do like it a lot, especially the clothes. And since ur doing ur own thing , u could totally go all out on the cannon!
Thanks again for the feedback man, really appreciate you taking the time! Think I'll take a step back from texturing and presentation to correct the things you mentioned, starting with redoing the assault cannon and arm. Here's the current UE4 presentation, any pointers/changes on this I can make would be great!
Looks sweet man. Think about pushing the stylised thing a little more maybe? He has this monster machine on his back so maybe you could make his musculature a little more top heavy or even push the asymmetry on to the side with the cannon arm. Great job on the facial hair.
I have to agree with the sale comment, perhaps try putting something familiar in the image, a catwalk above the floor in the central area, in the background of the image (behind where the cannon is being lowered on that second tank) could give a sense of scale or a doorway somewhere. The scene is progressing well though,…
This. Also bought it, as well as 3 friends during the demo days. That damn squish sound is so great. Only thing I wish was somewhat like L4D is the lighting. Its so damn dark in areas and basically impossible to see if your flashlight goes dead. Dual Hand Cannons + Hunting Shotgun = Win.
On that note AimBiz...had a few hours left in the night so I threw in the cannon just cause it felt right :P Will be texturing those last though...FINALLY done UV mapping...I know its part of the process but talk about plenty of effort for little to show for it... high poly time :D
It's super duper rough, but I was just hoping to get blockout proportions roughly similar. It's been a long day at work, so tomorrow I'm hoping to get the rod cannon arm mostly done on my day off. Edit: This is 3DS Max. I've never used Zbrush but starting to think I should...
