Hello! I am currently exercising and trying to put up a first portfolio. I worked on these stones in Blender3D and I would love some feedback on them and if they are at least close to portfolio material. Thank you for your time! - The ivy is generated with the ivy addon- the stones have the normal and cavity maps hand made…
So I am trying pivot painter with Blender and Ue4, the addon uses vertex color to store certain info ue4 uses. So I am thinking of creating another vertex color layer for baking ao to vertex color. Can ue4 import two vertex color layers and can they be used seperately?
wasn't it an addon for the snes that ran discs, but sony pulled out to create the playstation while nintendo stuck with cartridge and made the n64? just nit picking i guess, but i've heard a lot of storys about it over the years. edit: damn you pior...
Another great thing is writing small addons for MMOs. I wrote some for Warhammer and WoW. They use LUA, which is super simple, and you can see results on the screen. You know the game, cause you're playing it. So it's not boring. Just an idea.
I changed the method for creating the color map in Blender. I use this addon for Blender that is truly amazing: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140883 But I still have the same error. Can you guide me how to proceed. Thank you.
yeah even though i'm maxed out at level 11 right now you can still go after all the mini challenges in the barracks to unlock new addons for guns. I'm trying to get that ACOG scope for my m249 right now
For personal stuff just use XSI if it suits you, no point jumping on inferior alternatives. If you want to find a job than learn Maya (Blender/Modo are just a waste of time in this case). For UV's try UV Layout + little addon here to send models to UV Layout, works like a charm.
Did you install the NoScript addon perchance? Shouldn't be that problem if Lightbox is working, but you never know.. You say you haven't installed anything, but I know I think the same sometimes, and end up being a wee bit wrong. Not saying you're as stupid as I am, though.. :p
yeah if you scale down the scene objects then in blender vr addon, it works fine ie you are a giant in a tiny house, but in 360 images the only way seems to be to zoom out, but in a small room, you can only zoom out so far there seems to be more freedom in vr with realtime not pre rendered
Would love to see same thing for Blender. Maybe as a paid addon on Blender market. Blenders native Data Transfer modifier could do same but kind of less reliably with normals sometimes split and not exactly same direction as in source object. It's one rare thing I had to switch back to Max sometimes
