The art test itself said this: "Feel free to add your own interpretation to the style, cleanliness, and add any extra supporting elements as needed." But how far should I go? When they give you the green light for creative freedom, how big of changes am I allowed to make? That's something I'm still not entirely sure about. -

Hey, that looks brilliant! I think the only things you can improve are the colors of the diffusemap, it looks too brown overall. I dont know if it fits in your concept but maybe building in some greek architcture elements like trims, ornaments or these typical pillars would make it fit more in an architecture style assumed… -

as usual. it depends there is no definite answer, as this comes down to YOUR needs. nowadays unless its some mobile title its very unlikely that you would mesh the eyeballs and eyesockets together. if it is anything current gen you'd treat eyeballs and head as seperate elements. in many productions eyeballs even are on a… -

Hi everyone, For now ill just concentrate on nailing the shot from the concept. So just need to do a few more things (different foliage, sky dome with moon,fix the lighting, and after talking with a friend decided to break up the wall a bit and create some unevenness, and also add some foreground elements. First I was thinking about a scene capture/render target thing but for a world map, this would be very bad.. The world map could be a print screen or rendered image of the world from an orthographic camera. Then this could be your background texture on the map, and the markers/moving characters etc could be separated UI… -
