First Update: Initial Block out in Engine as well as 1st pass of Layered Landscape Material. Here are some quick 3DO renders for Multiple Materials used in the Layered Material. Rock01 Rock02 Sand01 Sand02 Dune Sand ZBrush HiPoly for Rocks.
I hope very soon. Because here I upgraded and started in on a project. That feature is essential to my workflow.. If I can not re-import my maps, I am screwed. Back to v 1.* then. Too bad, because 2.0 rocks.
Yea I have a 770 and turning off Hairworks by far boosted my fps more than anything else. I'm not rocking probably in the 40-60 range most of the time which is fine by me. Everything else is maxed out at 1080P
God Bless man, amazing work, years and years and this thread still catch the eyes . the last reply which is a question from jaaamesss is my question too, other part is how beautiful rocks been made, would like to know the way ;)
Updates! Blinds were just a weird option let alone them being wood. Moved a few things, moved the scene to 4.7 to get the foilage shading for the trees in the window. It's getting there, slowly...Thanks again for the feedback you guys rock as always!
Hey YakZ thanks for the feedback :) I scaled up the crystals and exaggerated some of the edge trims and beveled the corners of the railing and bottom platforms. I also worked on the rock texture (or floating ground texture) and added a little more color to the edges and trims.
I imagine it as being in a suedo cave, really more like under a giant cliff that goes almost straight out creating a giant rock roof, but also having 2 open sides that skylight can come into at sun right and sun set.
So, did a base sculpt for the ground, mainly rock at the moment. need to add some other details to it mainly mud and grass and some of the top needs some love. But relatively happy with this. Once again thanks to Defiled for is tips on brushes they came in handy :)
Her design is really awesome! Her hair is catching, looks like Lagertha from vikings. But i think her left arm looks too simple, you may add some bracelets or a glove if you like the idea. Keep rocking!!
Aside from what I do at work I don't really have the time to do much personal art... Don't know if you consider that taking a break. I do like to squeeze in some small projects like sculpting rocks.
