I will try this out too. I hope it is easy as ABC. However, though a lot of people might take such things for granted, a ton of work goes into making car paint such as car paint screening. Car makers test car paint and ensure that it can stand up to the punishment the elements deal out and don't even charge people for it.
This is the new model for the female. Artist Daniel Akbari ( http://artofdanielakbari.blogspot.com... ) did a clean retopology from my old model and the rest worked by me. Also showing the new player customization system, with a lot of combinations of face and body elements. The city walls were made by "Renjoss" (…
Actually, none of those substances seem that hard to do. You just need to get comfortable with a parametric approach. Generally it's easier to get into it if you break down the different elements of the substance you're doing. The sand pebbles substance is also basically a sand material with pebbles placed on top. Two…
Thanks for the feedback Pigart and Magihat. It's unfortunate that the Wix site has loading issues as this is an important element. I have replaced video files on the site with images that have links instead, to see if this helps at all. I will definitely look into other alternatives for the site as suggested. Also since…
Looks really good already man :D . Great looking bake, and subd. The only thing that stand out for me is that the normal mapped details on your stock feel a little bit out of place. I think replacing it with some ornamental elements (like the one you've placed on the flint) would tie it together a little bit better.
Why don't you just practise blocking it ALL out, super low poly but emphasis on scale, distance and composing the scene completely. (Use vertex colour to make it standout) After you are happy with this choose an element that you have some experience in and try and improve, be it focus on cleaner mesh or better texturing…
Heres the first of a few lowpoly bakes I guess. Going to get a final one out tonight and then blockout the colours. @Maydream3d: yours came out pretty good man. Nice clean normals and such. Looking at yours I can see a few things ive missed so will have to go back in and add some small elements!
Compared to the reference image your track elements are too long. In your blueprint the tracks are made out of two different shapes. One track piece with "spikes" and one without. When you create your tracks this way you will get a better deformation. You could also try it with a centered pivot maybe this gives you a…
"Commercial success is more dependent on marketing and luck." Partly dude, that luck element can be made less important from understanding the market. We had a pretty damn good run making hits when i was at half brick. Not sure how much that was luck Fruitninja>Monsterdash>JetpackJoyride. The biggest decider by far was…
