Looking good, maybe you should give it a try in the UDK or CryEngine aswell sometime in the future just to weigh the end results. Liking where it's at, but try to render it without the sky and street ending nowhere, kind of kills off the believability factor. -

CryEngine had Light Propogation Volumes at least since 2009. The guys from Lionhead put it onto UE4 after the SVOGI thing failed for Epic. So shortly speaking what you call irradiance has actually been in games for a while now. What I think what you're actually referring to is a clean art style that plays up bounce… -

Honestly, nothing really struck me on this. UE4 and Unity will stay at the top of the game for a long time it seems. Personally, the UI, the functionality and the menus seems inviting and User-friendly (much more than CryEngine for example), I especially like the auto-snap object placement and the nice terrain editing… -
