Looking good, maybe you should give it a try in the UDK or CryEngine aswell sometime in the future just to weigh the end results. Liking where it's at, but try to render it without the sky and street ending nowhere, kind of kills off the believability factor.
@TudorMorris Thank you very much, really appreciate it :) . Also very flattered to receive front page on a couple of my sketches, thank you so much! Here's the latest sketch, done during my livestream. Part of the same universe as the rest of the images in this sketchbook. The city lay quiet, no need for alarm bells to be…
not meaning to troll here, but 2007 was when Foundry merged with Nuke, they'd been going as a plugin vendor since 1996. But yeah, he's earneda a shot at smelling the roses. regarding Mischief: here's where i'm hoping you prove me wrong, but mishchief is a far far cry from a photoshop killer. it's a very simple sketchpad…
its not really a hassle to run both at all, its not like i have to close out of osx to run a windows app. My start menu is just there and i run something, and i also dont see why you would ever feel you have to "avoid" windows or osx. i dont see why people have to have this fan boy affiliation with technology, its as…
I think I need to start a new tradition. After my kids open all the presents I gather everyone around the old la-Z-boy recliner. Then I instruct my kids to pick their favorite toy for a fun activity. I will then take those toys and burn them in the backyard in a old rusty barrel. While they are crying I will tell them that…
CryEngine had Light Propogation Volumes at least since 2009. The guys from Lionhead put it onto UE4 after the SVOGI thing failed for Epic. So shortly speaking what you call irradiance has actually been in games for a while now. What I think what you're actually referring to is a clean art style that plays up bounce…
Honestly, nothing really struck me on this. UE4 and Unity will stay at the top of the game for a long time it seems. Personally, the UI, the functionality and the menus seems inviting and User-friendly (much more than CryEngine for example), I especially like the auto-snap object placement and the nice terrain editing…
Yea normally contests are run like a poker tournament. You pay your fee you get in and if you play your cards right you walk out with more than you did when you walked in. Either way the cost of admission is the cost of playing the game, it funds the prize and makes sure things go smooth as well as filtering out the people…
hey, sorry about the delay and thanks for commenting ^^ You're bang on right about the wear and tear. Looking at it now, there are no chips or chunks taken out as you'd expect on the rim of any shield. What sort of colour would you go with on the knife? Do you mean colouring the highlights and shadows, that kind of thing?…
I went over on a J-2 which is a spouse visa of a J-1. Because I didn't have enough 'points' to make it. 5 years exp plus 1 year of schooling was not enough. Actually they were the ones interested in us. We weren't really applying to places as we were still freelancing. Yeah any management or the person in charge of your…
