I took my first test at 28 and passed it, they had just brought in the hazzard perception thing, and thats the only part i came close to failing. the video resolution was shocking. As for the actual test it was the only time i ever did a perfect paralel park.
Being 28 myself, I know it's difficult not to but don't see being 24 or anything as an obstacle. That has a good chance of resulting in a self-fulfilling prophecy(speaking from experience). It's much more difficult to improve when something that you can't change is driving you nuts.
normal maps do not contain height data, they contain "change of angle" data. This is why you need to have beveled edges to show. You would probably benefit from poking through the wiki here: http://wiki.polycount.com/NormalMap?highlight=%28\bCategoryTexturing\b%29
Day 28 I think this likeness was closer than the previous one but I still made the same mistake as before, made the face too flat, nose and mouth area should have been a bit further out and the area above the upper lip needed more volume
Number 28 So close to finishing now, I completely forgot about the ear on this one, this sculpt was a challenge with the areas of fat on the face, I forgot to focus on the landmarks and so messed up a bit, overall I think it's not a bad likeness but I can definitely do better.
There's a newly discovered security flaw in Internet Explorer. It's bad enough for Microsoft to warn its customers not to use the browser until there's a fix. Sux for anyone still on XP too - theirs will never see a fix! More on it here:…
Weight Maps are discontinuous,
one-dimensional Vertex Maps holding weight
percentages. Although primarily used for Rigging, in this video I create a
weight map and use it to aid in texturing a mesh. http://www.pixelfondue.com/blog/2017/3/28/modo-using-weight-maps-as-layer-masks
The only thing keeping this from being utter portable art creation perfection is the fact that it will probably be very very very expensive. http://www.modbook.com/modbookpro http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/28/3122271/the-modbook-pro-returns-morphing-a-macbook-into-a-pen-based-tablet
@sacboi Thanks man :) @valentin_baguirov Yeah once ol' ratty in there is done, he wont stick out like a sore thumb. The underground is for carriage parking, though its a bit pricey at $28 for a full day of parking. That's why you don't really want to carriage downtown anymore.
