yea, dynamesh fuses touching objects by default and I'm not sure if there is an option to make it not do that. One easy way to solve your problem is to separate the two objects into separate subtools then dynamesh will only interact with the one subtool. This is the setup you will want anyway, makeing all your different…
Hi, Regarding you paintings/drawing - you seem to have quite a common problem. that a lot of begging artist have ( me too!:) ). You go into detail to soon, try working with larger brush to work out the shape and mass first. Work with the object as whole and in stages - don't polish one part of it whilst other is two steps…
Yeah I'd definitely say go for making it two objects so you can really get that feeling of liquid inside of there. Just make another cylinder inside of that one, slightly smaller and with some curve on the top of it to look like that liquid is sloshing around. Ohhh try and get some small spheres in there for little bubbles…
God Hand has mean bosses. I Wanna Be The Guy has incredibly mean bosses, Mike Tyson is a straight up bastard. I guess lots of shit in Disgaea, too. ALSO those two damn snake things in the tunnels under Reno (I think) in FF9 were fucking mean, but maybe I just suck. So was the end boss. And every god damn boss in Lost…
This is looking really cool, the high poly is really awesome and the low came out really great. I would say thought that the lenses can use more geometry as others have said also the material on the camera feels too large (if that makes any sense) I would tile down on the mesh so it looks like it better conforms to it.…
This is shaping up to be an incredibly slick looking set! Even with wraith kings somewhat awkward colour palette the colours manage to look really nice together. I think the sword being more "wraith king-coloured" and not using the same bone colour as all old skeleton king swords helps a lot. My favourite part of it are…
Nistrum- If you're going to have a reel (which isn't really necessary as others have pointed out unless you have environments with moving elements or animation), then the rotations need to be 5 seconds long each and only have two rots for each pass of the mesh. The stuff in your reel rotates way too fast for people to…
you can do it with edge extrude with a height set to 0 in most cases, but it'd take an extra step or two to get quite the same effect in these particular cases. But among swiftloop, connect, and extrude you should be able to get used to it if you're too cheap to shell out 40 bucks for that other script. I'd figure there…
Wow, too late to be of any use, but on the phone interview for my first job I was asked to explain how I worked with and created modular assets. It doesn't sound like a hard question till you try to come up with an answer that covers all of the bases on the fly (while you're nervous and talking to two art leads D: ) Come…
Strongest of the two is bird man. Arms of the snake spider need better musculature and anatomical definition. The belly of the snake shows clear signs of faceting from an earlier lower subdivison. It looks sloppy. Bird man arms are porportionally too short. Hands should reach the middle of the thighs when arms are down on…
