Of a class of 35 - 40, 5 went on to work in games. The rest either dropped out, or are working somewhere else. Of the 3-5 from my class only 2 that I know of are still actually working in games, Myself and one other guy from my class. The rest are working in IT, much more money and far less stress - but those guys do miss… -

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think it's wise to upload videos of prototype art. You all know what a 3D engine looks like. In my opinion is not that bad modify a concept, the real question is, what the purpose is. If you want to show how faithfully can reproduce a concept, of course you just need to stick with it even if it looks ugly to you. In that case I'd state "Model BASED ON Mr.Someguy's concept". I think the problem in the second picture is that when you use clay polish it actually masks your mesh but you aren't able to see it. Make sure to hold control and drag a box outside of your mesh to unmask it after using clay polish. Those brushes are a good start. As for making it a tiling texture there is a good tutorial…
