Just some experimentation on drawing habits as well as different types of back pieces for disruptor. I'm leaning to the top one and I'm thinking that the banners would be skinned to the ponytail of disrutor. And before, I did an axe with disrtupor and people liked it. So I decided another axe. Its the same silhouette, but…
A few things to update, sketched out the infinite axe throwing and setup up a Live Stream account to work live and chat with whoever feels like watching. I'll be updating the Live dates and times on my Facebook page and try to develop a regular schedule. http://www.livestream.com/mciii Axe throwing image attached below.
looking great, really like the face. only thing that looks really off to me is the skull on his axe. it looks so oddly placed on there. it is also not something I would think of seeing on an orc axe, maybe a deathknights. I think it would fit better if it was just the solid alex, would feel more barbaric/orcish.
I took my old axe I made for Torchlight and "ported" it to match my wood sword. now with green Orc blood. I just started on a rickety wood shield made of fence posts. It won't stop an axe, but it might block a wood sword :P shield is just started so its super wip, just thought I'd post up the trio because they're fun.
Thank you marq4porsche and Jessica Dinh for the advice on the rock highlights. You guys were right, it really helped define the geomatry: Also going back to my Axe and Sheild work I imported them into udk and also changed the Axe a little by breaking up the sections and enlarging the detailed areas, like the blue spicky…
Really nice textures man!!! I'm getting a silent hill vibe from him(which is probably what you were going for right) anyways only thing that bothers me a little is the ax being too small, Firefighter axes are a bit bigger than that, easy fix tho. http://en.wikivisual.com/images/c/c7/Firefighter_with_axe.jpg
In this context I'd absolutely encourage investigating ways to reduce tiling with small textures as Eric suggests. learning these techniques pays off in all sorts of ways (i recommend mocking it up in photoshop/designer, then figuring out the maths later btw). but That particular example.. not sure I'd recommend it…
We are banning you, for stealing other artists' artwork. We don't tolerate stealing here. love L4D so deff respect the choice, need more lights and different camera angles to see whats really going on... as for the props etc, nice work on the door and axe, would like to see some blood on the blade of the axe considering there is an arm there : ) maybe even a tiny pool of blood from the drips? biggest problem i…
Yes but apparently with L.Sym, the center of symmetry is the center of the subtool instead of world origin, but the axes are still world axis. My subtool has rotation in 3 axes but its original pivot is "well oriented".Or i'm doing something wrong ? Ok well from fellow zbrush artists, it's not possible. ZB doesn't store…
