Hi, After hours of playing with Bodeo 1889 Revolver, I liked its shape and reloading system, so I decided to make it a 3d so I can take a step into weapon modeling and texturing. it still has a lot of work to do. but I like to take into consideration your critic before finishing the modeling and going to the texturing part.
Hey Guys I am hoping someone can help me figure this out. So I textured a character in Painter and I rigged it and reloaded the project. When I do my textures get all screwed up. I didn't mess with the UVs or anything. So I have no idea what happened. Please help
Hey, sometimes when I use Maya on my Laptop it says to me at some point that I can't redo this step but after reloading or just some time waiting it works again. Does someone know what this could be? it's really annoying but never happend to me on the Pc only on my Laptop. Thanks for every comment ;D
Welcome Big problem with your site... when I view your 3d work, I can't get back to your main page without using the back button. Then I'm forced to reload the flash and start from scratch. I kind of gave up looking at your work because of it :/
I seemed to fix it. I created a primitive in zbrush and was able to edit that. I then switched back to my zTool and was able to edit it again. It gave a display bug of the mesh I was sculpting to bubble out but upon release it looked correct. I saved the zTool and reloaded and now its all good.
I'm quite happy with it. I play it at the second hardest level and I don't have the feeling of being indestructible. I die from time to time, but not too often. And I don't have to reload my quicksaves just to survive with more hps than the time before. This helps me to relax
Ive tried using the photoshop action before, it doesn't save over the existing targa, so I would have to go into marm and reload it manually so it would work out to being the same anyways. Ill look into those other things you've mentioned though. I appreciate it a lot!
I played with one hand on the gamepad (movement and shoulder button for reload), one hand on the mouse (mouselook, fire, jump). It was simple gameplay wise but fun! The art made me want more. It also makes me want to do an unofficial seven day FPS. Hadn't heard of that challenge before.
Wow uhm, I have to be honest and say I have no idea. I've never bothered animating shaders yet: if I do any realtime animation it would be through the UV's. It's probably easiest to just create a preset from your material, clear it/create a new one and then reload the presets.
Update! Its been some time. Loads to do at work these past weeks. Anyway: As always, playable in browser at: http://oskarstalberg.com/game/HovertankGame/index.html (remember to reload page to clear cache) Changes: - New enemy: Tanks! - New pickup: score - Litte fire effect here and there. Todo. - Upgrades.
