I'm using the Javascript solution posted by Nelios in the Update thread (highlight and drag/drop the code onto your browser toolbar, then click the button anytime you go to a non-working link): http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=CB5X3mbC
if you want to attach stuff is with the paper clip, however to add you may need to use a host like photobucket and then embed here, if got stuff on a blog you can also click the add image button and add the url there.
Update of my progress, did a full sweep over the coats, still need some work on the placement of the buttons, then adding seam details, but asides from that, I'm pretty much done I think with the sculpting, on to the head and hands next.
Haha, yeah can't say I've risked it either. Also, with iPad 2 and it's rear facing camera which is switched on at the touch of a button, FaceTime chat could go horribly wrong. Or horribly right depending who you're talking to.
Flatten it, then use Make Polymesh 3D button to create a clone. Or you could just bake something to a texture, apply to a plane, and sculpt on that (might waste a few polygons if you dont want to bother cleaning it up, but it shouldn't matter)).
Yeah, I`m looking for a way to remove seams from spherical/cylindrical objects, like this one: You mean like there`s like "push a button to remove seams" program?:) Which one specifically you have in mind?
Great work, especially on the face, if maybe a bit extravagant on the polycount. You should add some seams to the cloth and gear - it would really help define the shapes and sell the materials. And those buttons and bullets have waaay to many polygons.
I just tried to create a project with the Cryengine profile but it didn´t tile for me. Could you open the project that has the tiling issue, click "Reimport input" button in the main DDO window and double check the texel density?
The best I can say here is that it's probably some incompatibility with ATI drivers that we'd need to investigate further. The only workaround I currently can think of would be to hit the render button in 3DO and save thumbnails out manually. :(
Ugh, wtf. Ok, yeah that does it. I had turned it off by default awhile back to work with the Edit Poly modifier. What relevance this button has to Sub-Object toggling is beyond me. Now I know. Thanks!
