I heard somewhere that the red colored elements are the ones you mostly interact with : jump pads, gas pipes aso. Maybe something to bear in mind when deciphering the gameplay. Anyways, can't wait for this. Loved the Ico tribute-ish when she stands over the city. Goosebumps, yum!
This looks really nice, the biggest suggestion i could give would be to maybe seperate the colors/values on your different elements more. The roof, walls, stone and wood all feel like the same color and are close in value, it would really help to add some contrast to them as a whole.
The APB looks amazing! and really excited about the deformable objects, think thats works so well with the barrels although there done to death like creates :P Like some of the element of the 'alone in the dark' but think they could have polished the tech demo a tad. Got some inative ideas
very good point Two Listen, especially evident in that castle crashers shot posted. There might be some black in the main characters, but thats because you *want them to pop from the rest of the elements. everything else is varying shades of colour ps, I have to ask: why painter for this?
Animator had to do animate the moonwalk here at the office. Noticed you have a few smaller elements missing, that really sell the move (notably the snap, and pushing with the tips of the toes, and the head movement): [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_FzgtLVzbI[/ame] Fantastic progress on your reel! :D
Yeah, that last episode was getting pretty good. I've always loved the idea of showing the selfishness & darker elements of humanity that CAUSE the robot uprising in any story. I loved the 2nd Renaissance on The Animatrix. Not just because "AI's and robots are evil" but because HUMANS ARE and mistreated the life they'd…
Looks like a really nice blend between Lineage 2 and Final Fantasy style elements and characters...I really like the detail and the thought behind them...really really wicked Crits in the morning I guess...well my morning, right now, just a fanboy reply lol...
I'm modelling some of the characters from Marvel Comics New Mutants, trying to mix comic designs with elements and likenesses from the film, and going for a more stylized than realistic look. Here is what I have so far for Magik: Comments and suggestions welcome! Thanks for looking.
Hello guys, I'm currently facing a problem with exporting from zbrush and importing to Maya. whenever I import the model, it shows in the outlines as several elements as if it's shattered. the second question , is there any script for maya to find the unwelded vertices or the coincidence vertices and such errors?
Fun class project for lighting and rendering utilizing trim sheets with some unique props, loosely based off of Leroy Steinmann's dwarven temple sketch, and added some warcraft flavor to it. All models, textures, and lighting elements are done by me. Modeled in 3ds Max and painted in Photoshop and 3DCoat. Composed in UDK.…
